The Situation

Pinnacle Promotions is a promotional marketing agency with expertise in design, sourcing, and production of branded merchandise and corporate apparel. Since 1994, they have helped some of the world’s most recognized brands and institutions Make the right impression by selecting quality promotional products that are flawlessly customized and delivered faster than ever thought possible.

Pinnacle Promotions was on a home-grown, custom-built eCommerce platform that was hindering their growth when they came to us. They were frustrated since they couldn’t easily make simple changes and had to involve outside developers which cost them time and money.

They also wanted the ability for a shopper to order in bulk; meaning, choosing multiple colors and multiple sizes of a single product on a single product page.

Finally, they had a long-term plan of managing many of their clients’ websites from the same backend as their own but had not yet found a solution that could handle this setup.

The Solution

After reviewing multiple best-in-class eCommerce platforms, Pinnacle chose Adobe Commerce for three major reasons.

First, editing content is a breeze with Magento’s native contentment management system, Page Builder. With an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface, controlling content is simple and intuitive.

Second, because Adobe Commerce is built on an open source platform, Pinnacle’s bulk order functionality could be achieved with custom coding from our development team.

But where Pinnacle saw the real value of Adobe Commerce was the platform’s ability to manage multiple sites under one instance. This would be a game-changer for Pinnacle since their current process of managing these sites was a mess. By replatforming their current site onto Adobe Commerce, would pave the way for their client’s sites to be moved to Adobe Commerce as well.

The Success

With the launch of their new Adobe Commerce site, Pinnacle Promotions was able to deliver a fast, feature-rich, easy-to-use site for their B2B and B2C clients.

Search results are served up instantly and a streamlined checkout help increases conversions.

We developed highly customized product detail pages that included a real-time cost estimator, request a quote functionality, and a bulk ordering grid with colors and sizes:

 

We also installed a mega menu that featured category images and enabled Adobe Sensei to serve up product recommendations.

Managing content, adding products, and scheduling promotions are easy and intuitive with Page Builder and can be easily handled internally by multiple members of their team that are not developers.

Finally, with the successful launch of their new Adobe Commerce website, Pinnacle is now poised to add on their clients’ websites under their one instance of Magento.
